The BB-500CL is a new addition to the Basic tier of the C3 family. It is a Bayer color progressive scan camera with 5 million pixels resolution and Camera Link (CL) interface.
The camera utilizes the Sony ICX625 CCD and operates at 15 frames/second in continuous mode even with a 5 megapixel resolution, thanks to a well-crafted analog front end design. Partial scan and binning modes are also provided.
The camera offers superb thermal management and pre-processing functions such as: white balance, LUT for compensating lighting condition and a blemish compensation function.
In common with all C3 Camera Suite models, the new BB-500CL camera is supported by JAI’s SDK and Control Tool.
Dimensions (HxWxL): 55 x 55 x 55 mm.
A GigE Vision version of this camera is also available. Click here for more information.

The AM-201GE is a 2-megapixel industrial grade CCD camera offering a combination of high resolution, high fidelity, and high frame rates. The AM-201GE incorporates the KAI-02150 quad-tap sensor from Kodak for full-frame monochrome resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels delivered over a standard GigE Vision interface.
The simple, single-cable GigE Vision interface supports 2-megapixel 8-bit output at 38.3 fps, with 10-bit per pixel and 12-bit per pixel modes also selectable. JAI\'s free SDK and Control Tool software provides easy access to the camera\'s extensive feature set, as well as a wide range of library functions and samples for quick application development. GigE Vision / GenICam-compliant software tools and libraries from third-party companies are also supported.
The AM-201GE features an advanced channel balancing function which continuously adjusts the video levels coming from the quad-tap sensor to ensure uniformity across the image.
The camera features user configurable AOI scanning (partial scanning), horizontal and vertical binning modes , and a variety of acquisition modes, including continuous, single-frame, and multi-frame capture. Specific image pre-processing features range from integrated auto-gain, auto-shutter, and auto-iris control (ALC), to pixel blemish compensation, flat-field compensation, and a 512-point look-up table for gamma customization.
Like JAI’s other high resolution cameras, the AM-201GE incorporates a list of industrial grade features to maximize performance in machine vision environments. These include precise sensor alignment, advanced thermal management, a built-in temperature sensor, and rugged construction with extensive shock and vibration testing performed.
Dimensions (HxWxL): 55 x 55 x 69 mm (C-mount)
